Fab Equipment Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Fab Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Micron Technology. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the semiconductor fabrication process, working closely with our operations technicians and shift engineers/technicians. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in preventative and corrective maintenance, basic troubleshooting, and equipment qualification procedures.

Your Responsibilities:
- Complete Required Safety Training: Ensure all work is conducted in accordance with safety policies and procedures.
- On-the-Job Training (OJT): Receive training on preventative/corrective maintenance and equipment qualification procedures in a cleanroom manufacturing environment.
- Participate in Area Continuous Improvement Programs: Collaborate with cross-functional sub-teams to optimize equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Troubleshooting Support: Provide support for equipment-related problems and address root causes.
- Improve Equipment Availability: Investigate chronic tool problems and find solutions.
Requirements:
- Education: Must be enrolled in an AAS in Mechatronics, Robotics, Engineering Technology, or related field of study.
- Skills: Mechanical proficiency with the ability to understand and troubleshoot mechanical systems, knowledge of AC/DC circuits and basic fundamentals of electricity, and intermediate PC skills.
