Join Our Team as a Fab Equipment Maintenance Technician Intern

We are seeking a talented and ambitious individual to join our team as a Fab Equipment Maintenance Technician Intern at Micron Technology. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the semiconductor fabrication process, working closely with our operations technicians and shift engineers/technicians.

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in preventative and corrective maintenance, basic troubleshooting, and equipment qualification procedures. You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with cross-functional sub-teams to optimize equipment maintenance and repairs.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Complete Required Safety Training: Ensure all work is conducted in accordance with safety policies and procedures.
  • On-the-Job Training (OJT): Receive training on preventative/corrective maintenance and equipment qualification procedures in a cleanroom manufacturing environment.
  • Participate in Area Continuous Improvement Programs: Collaborate with cross-functional sub-teams to optimize equipment maintenance and repairs.

Requirements:

  • Education: Must be enrolled in an AAS in Mechatronics, Robotics, Engineering Technology, or related field of study.
  • Skills: Mechanical proficiency with the ability to understand and troubleshoot mechanical systems, knowledge of AC/DC circuits and basic fundamentals of electricity, and intermediate PC skills.
