Role OverviewIn this pivotal position, you will collaborate closely with a client's sustainability team to support their energy and sustainability objectives, targets, and initiatives.
As part of the JLL Sustainable Operations team, your role will be to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of our sustainability services.
You will serve as a catalyst, enhancing stakeholder engagement, advancing towards sustainability goals, and achieving success in building performance.
Your responsibilities will include integrating and implementing sustainability practices across various business functions throughout the real estate lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and optimize comprehensive energy and sustainability programs in partnership with the client's sustainability team.
- Facilitate proactive communication, drive innovation, and integrate feedback to eliminate obstacles while leveraging opportunities.
- Engage in strategic decision-making, utilizing data tracking and monitoring to inform actions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally within JLL to ensure the success of energy and sustainability initiatives aligned with the defined scope of work.
- Lead program implementation and maintain accountability for ongoing coordination of sustainability initiatives, including monitoring and reporting.
- Utilize client tools and relevant JLL resources for problem-solving and identify alternative tools as necessary.
- Understand the application of sustainability throughout the commercial real estate lifecycle, recognizing critical stakeholder roles.
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- A university degree in a relevant field (e.g., Science, Engineering, Mathematics).
- Over 10 years of experience in sustainable operations, engineering of commercial buildings, or related disciplines.
- A technical understanding of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and building automation systems and their influence on sustainability objectives.
- Advanced knowledge of energy conservation measures and sustainability initiatives within commercial real estate.
- Strong operational experience in a large, multi-dimensional organization with a focus on management and productivity.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- A proven track record of integrating sustainability into organizational operations.
The estimated total compensation for this position ranges from $163,000 to $186,000 annually, inclusive of bonuses where applicable. This range is an estimate and not guaranteed.
