Position Overview:

Ameresco, Inc. seeks an industry leader in statistical analysis of utility energy efficiency, demand response, electrification, and other distributed energy resource programs to join our Consulting division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical decisions related to complex research, planning, and data analysis, setting industry standards.

  • Drive innovation and excellence within Ameresco, Inc. through expertise in the evaluation of customer-focused utility programs.

  • Develop and execute analysis plans for complex tasks and/or projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables.

  • Manage large and highly complex projects or tasks, including statistical analyses, fuel and utility bill analysis, energy efficiency savings estimation, and program benefit-cost analysis.

  • Develop project deliverables, including written memos, reports, and presentations, and manage the QA/QC process to ensure client satisfaction.

  • Communicate analytical methods and results to clients in a clear and effective manner.

  • Represent Ameresco, Inc. at stakeholder presentations, industry conferences, and industry organizations.

  • Perform QA/QC on complex analysis performed by others to ensure deliverables are high-quality, sensible, and error-free.

  • Build and maintain client relationships to maximize productivity and cultivate future opportunities.

  • Mentor and guide junior staff on analysis and project work.

  • Contribute to business development and/or proposals.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in economics, statistics, mathematics, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 15 years of industry experience, particularly experience in energy modeling through program planning, evaluation, or implementation.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in statistics or a related field.

  • Experience providing consulting services for energy utilities.

  • Active membership in one or more industry groups or associations.

  • Recognized industry expert in statistical analysis of utility energy efficiency and/or demand response programs.

  • Demonstrated excellence with the development of analysis plans for discrete tasks and/or projects.

  • Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information.

  • Superior interpersonal skills, including courtesy, professionalism, and a cooperative attitude.

  • Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to follow through on multiple tasks and priorities.
