Job Summary

Resource Innovations is seeking an experienced Energy Efficiency Program Manager to lead the successful launch and deployment of IRA Inflation Reduction Act programs with retail partners. As the Retail Energy Efficiency Lead, you will work in a dynamic environment with a team of outreach and operations staff focused on deploying IRA Energy programs across the country.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement short and long-term implementation plans for IRA Inflation Reduction Act programs.
  • Lead program implementation activities, including managing program launch and development of work plans to meet goals.
  • Develop trusted relationships with clients, industry stakeholders, and program contacts.
  • Manage and mentor a dynamic team by setting and reviewing performance standards and objectives for direct reports.
  • Support outreach functions through community engagement, program presentations, and relationship building.
  • Develop and manage partnerships with subcontractors, community groups, and other industry affiliates/stakeholders.
  • Manage client expectations, satisfaction, communications, and resolve and/or escalate client issues.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship is required due to IRA funding stipulations.
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in business, energy, engineering, or a related field of study is required.
  • A minimum of 6+ years' experience in energy-efficiency or a related field is required, with multifamily or commercial & industrial (C&I) program experience preferred.
  • Previous management experience, including experience leading technical staff, is required.
  • Proven success in developing and implementing project scopes, budgets, and plans is required.
  • Proficient skills with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools are required.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Advanced energy-related certifications, such as Certified Energy Manager (CEM) Certification, are preferred.
  • A master's degree or MBA is preferred.
  • Experience managing multi-family focused energy efficiency or weatherization programs is preferred.
