About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our client's team in Lowell, MA. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts, preparing and posting journal entries, and ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial statements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
  • Prepare and post journal entries in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Support the annual budgeting process and develop financial forecasts.
  • Provide financial insights to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Coordinate and support internal and external audits.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency in Netsuite and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
