Job Title: Credit Analyst

Colony Hardware is seeking a skilled Credit Analyst to join our team. As a Credit Analyst, you will play a critical role in managing the credit application process, customer accounts, and customer collections.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process, analyze, and review credit applications to determine credit worthiness and assign credit lines.
  • Manage customer accounts, including setting up and maintaining customer files and accounts, assessing and managing credit risks, and ensuring accounts are secured when necessary.
  • Work with existing customers to assist and research/resolve issues, issue debit/credit memos, and follow up with sales and customers regarding issues.
  • Monitor extension of credit on accounts and report weekly on any problem accounts.
  • Manage accounts, including an ongoing review of accounts, payments, credit reports, issues, etc.
  • Process and Procedures: File Small Claims Court paperwork, file on Bonds and Liens, report to credit agencies, process NSF checks, and ensure credit policy and procedures are adhered to companywide.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of previous credit and collections experience.
  • Knowledge of liens, bonds, joint checks, lien waivers, Notice of Furnishings.
  • General accounting knowledge.
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
