Junior Electronic Circuit Technician

The role of an Electronics Repair Technician encompasses diagnosing and resolving issues in both digital and analog circuitry at the component level. This position requires identifying necessary repairs or modifications, replacing components on printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs), conducting visual inspections, and executing fundamental testing of PCBAs according to predefined protocols.
Core Responsibilities:
- Diagnose issues in digital and analog circuits
- Identify required repairs or modifications
- Replace components on PCBAs
- Conduct visual inspections of PCBAs
- Perform basic testing of PCBAs
- Manage material transactions within the shop floor control system
- Document defect causes in the quality records database
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Additional Responsibilities:
- Conduct basic maintenance on tools and equipment
- Follow electrostatic discharge (ESD) protocols
- Execute IPC rework and repair tasks
- Assist in maintaining product quality and production efficiency
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in electronics or equivalent experience
- Experience with electronic testing and repair tools
- Adaptability in a fast-paced work environment
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively
- Reliable attendance is essential
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with digital and analog audio electronics
Work Environment:
- This is an onsite position
- Tasks may involve physical activities such as reaching, pushing, and pulling
