Job Title: MRI Electronic Repair Technician

**Job Summary:**

MXR Imaging, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled MRI Electronic Repair Technician to join our team. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, calibrating, and verifying the performance of imaging systems and associated parts.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Repair parts for sale requests based on repair list, and provide technical support to customers
  • Confirm and communicate technical stock levels, and maintain proper stock levels
  • Perform installations and deinstallations of systems in-house as needed
  • Perform quarterly preventative maintenance on in-house systems
  • Test, analyze, and diagnose systems
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment
  • Perform incoming inspections, equipment quality control, testing, calibration, and image evaluation of equipment according to manufacturer's specifications and other established guidelines
  • Demonstrate adherence to company core values in all professional interactions
  • Support quality initiatives as it pertains to the organization and the role

**Requirements:**

  • AA degree or higher in Electronics or Military equivalent
  • Electronic Technician certification or comparable certification

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields
  • Experience with JTAG would be beneficial

**Competencies:**

  • Proficiency with serial data communication including: CAN, I2C, and SPI
  • Proficiency with bus interfaces including USB and PCI
  • Knowledge of embedded microprocessors and microcontrollers
  • Good technical troubleshooting skills
  • Typical use of hand tools and some power/air tools
  • Attention to details and well-organized with good follow through
  • Works well with all levels of management, client, end users, and vendors
  • Great physical stamina and manual dexterity
