Job Description
Aerotek is seeking an experienced Electronic Assembler to join our team in Milwaukie, Oregon. As an Electronic Assembler, you will be responsible for building circuit boards used in electric motors, generators, and sensors within the aerospace industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Electronic Component Assembly: Assemble and solder electronic components and wires according to technical drawings and specifications.
- Quality Control: Inspect and test assembled circuit boards to ensure they meet quality and performance standards.
- Tool Operation: Utilize hand tools, air tools, and soldering irons to assemble and repair circuit boards.
- Computer Proficiency: Access work instructions and assembly drawings using computers.
Requirements:
- Electronic Assembly Experience: 1+ years of experience in electronic assembly and soldering.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in reading technical drawings and specifications, and utilizing hand tools and air tools.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in using computers to access work instructions and assembly drawings.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and effective time management.
Work Environment:
Aerotek offers a clean, quiet, and organized work environment with multiple workbenches and workstations. The work schedule is a day shift, Monday through Thursday, from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
