Job Description:

As a Senior Applications Developer Lead at Restaurant Supply Chain Solutions LLC, you will play a crucial role in supervising the daily efforts of our Consumer Lending team. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all consumer loan requests, including auto loans, motorcycle loans, recreational vehicle loans, boat loans, HELOCs, and unsecured loans, are processed within acceptable service level commitments. You will also serve as the primary point of contact for member, team member, staff, and dealer partner escalations.

This position requires excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to explain programs, loan terms, features, policies, and benefits to members and business partners. You should have strong relationship-building and teamwork skills, as well as excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.

You will work closely with the Consumer Lending Manager to coach and develop team members, providing quality control checks, reviews, and assistance with training. You will also adhere to established loan policies, laws, and regulations while demonstrating unwavering commitment to our company's mission, vision, and values.

Responsibilities:
  • Mentorship and development of team members
  • Providing underwriting support and serving as a point of escalation for secondary reviews of decisions
  • Preparing departmental reporting for management
  • Reviewing current processes, procedures, and policies to identify and recommend improvements
  • Ensuring that all processes are adequately documented via up-to-date procedures
  • Coordinating and executing on projects involving Consumer Lending systems, applications, and processes
  • Analyzing applicants' financial status, credit, and property evaluations to determine feasibility of granting loans
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required; three years' experience in a Consumer Underwriter or similar role for a financial institution preferred
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of Harborstone financial products and services (Restaurant Supply Chain Solutions LLC)
  • Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Able to calculate APR, debt-to-income ratios, loan values, discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
  • Knowledge of federal and state lending regulations
  • Able to maintain confidences
  • Multi-lingual capabilities to include Spanish a plus

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. This position is located in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, requiring regular attendance and punctuality.
