Job Overview

Position Summary: The Admissions Specialist plays a crucial role in facilitating the admissions process for prospective patients at Apex Recovery LLC. This position involves evaluating potential admissions against established criteria and ensuring a smooth transition for individuals seeking treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess prospective admissions to ensure compliance with organizational policies and admission standards.
  • Engage with patients and relevant parties to collect necessary clinical and demographic information.
  • Provide timely responses to inquiries from potential patients and their families.
  • Coordinate and schedule assessments for prospective patients.
  • Conduct pre-admission evaluations and verify benefits for treatment.
  • Guide prospective patients and their families through the treatment-seeking process.
  • Direct inquiries to appropriate agencies and community resources when necessary.
  • Collaborate with referral sources to streamline the admissions process.
  • Arrange transportation for patients as needed.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation throughout the admissions process.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Preferred experience of at least one year in a residential or substance abuse treatment facility.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a sales or customer service role.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.

  • Reliable transportation and a clean driving record are essential.

Attendance Expectations:

Consistent attendance and punctuality are crucial. Employees are expected to communicate any attendance issues with their supervisor in accordance with company policy.

Language Proficiency:

Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Capable of writing detailed correspondence and effectively presenting information in various settings.

Reasoning Skills:
