Job Summary:

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior Human Resources Manager to oversee all HR and administrative operations in our manufacturing setting. This role provides strategic leadership in HR and administrative functions while ensuring compliance with contracts and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the main contact for recruitment and selection efforts within the organization.

Oversee the HRIS to ensure employee documentation meets legal and reporting standards.

Organize and facilitate new employee orientations to promote a positive outlook on organizational goals.

Assess training needs to develop employee training programs, collaborating with safety initiatives.

Support management development to equip leaders with the necessary skills for executing the facility's strategic objectives.

Manage employee performance evaluations and address employee relations issues.

Plan and execute special events as needed.

HRIS, Payroll, and Benefits Oversight:

Administer employee benefits, including medical, health, 401(k), leave of absence management, workers' compensation, and disability claims.

Serve as a backup to the payroll manager to ensure timely payroll processing.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Human Resources, or a related discipline (Master's degree preferred).

5-8 years of progressive HR experience in a manufacturing setting.

Strong understanding of HR-related laws and regulations.

A minimum of 2 years of experience in a labor relations context is preferred.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Capable of interpreting corporate policies and procedures.

Excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with plant personnel and other departments, while ensuring any issues are reported to the appropriate supervisor.

Strong leadership, teamwork, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
