Job Summary

The Quality Assurance Manager will oversee the overall quality efforts for the manufacturing plant, directing daily quality assurance activities and managing quality engineering, quality assurance laboratory, and advance product quality planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage departmental team members, including engineers, liaisons, supervisors, and technicians.
  • Work with customers and suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement countermeasures.
  • Review and analyze data to inform quality reports and strategic planning.
  • Organize and evaluate monthly and weekly quality reports, presenting findings to management and manufacturing staff.
  • Support daily manufacturing meetings and initiate contact with customers and suppliers as needed.
  • Manage supplier APQP and product development, ensuring compliance with customer specifications.
  • Support new product launches and supplier selection processes.
  • Manage critical supplier product and process development, confirming process capability achievement.
  • Manage staff for timely supplier and customer PPAP approval.
  • Manage and track plant QSES audit status.
  • Review and direct departmental budget and manpower activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and five plus years' experience in quality assurance or a related field.
  • Advanced degree and four plus years' experience in quality assurance or a related field.
  • Certification in quality assurance or a related field.
  • Strong communication, administrative, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects and programs.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and pass background checks.

Working Conditions

This work is performed in a general manufacturing and office environment.
