Job Overview and Qualifications

Synopsys is on the lookout for a Lead Signal and Power Integrity Engineer to conduct SI/PI evaluations for its marketing initiatives that involve High-speed SERDES IPs (112G, 224G). You will collaborate with a team of highly skilled professionals spread across the globe.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Assist clients by resolving SIPI-related inquiries and enhancing the SIPI application documentation.
  • Conduct SI/PI evaluations for E112, E224, PCIE6 PHYs, and other high-speed communication protocols.
  • Work in conjunction with internal teams to refine PHY products, deliverables, documentation, and methodologies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
  • A minimum of 8 years of pertinent experience.
  • Strong understanding of Transmission line theory and time/frequency-domain analysis.
  • Proficient in SPICE and familiar with 3D field solvers.
  • Knowledgeable in PCIe and Ethernet interfaces; familiarity with DDR/UCIE interfaces and various 2.5D/3D packaging technologies is advantageous.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python and TCL is a plus; familiarity with both Windows and Linux operating systems is beneficial.

The salary range for this position across the U.S. is between $154,000 and $230,000. Additionally, this role may qualify for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses.
