Key Responsibilities

We are in search of an outstanding Senior Solutions Consultant (Presales) to join our Embedded Platform Team, focusing on the US market. Reporting to the Director of Solutions Consulting (Embedded), you will serve as a vital advisor and advocate for Workato's Embedded Platform, assisting potential clients in achieving their business goals. Your role will involve:

  • Acting as a trusted advisor to clients, showcasing Workato's value propositions and platform capabilities.
  • Leading the technical assessment and validation phases of the sales process with a consultative approach.
  • Collaborating with Account Executives, Solution Architects, and other team members to promote our platform tailored to client needs.
  • Educating prospects on various business and technical concepts, engaging with stakeholders across different levels.
  • Demonstrating the Workato platform through various channels, including live and remote presentations.
  • Creating customized product demonstrations that address unique client requirements.
  • Conducting technical workshops and proof of concepts (POCs) for potential clients.
  • Guiding new clients to realize their first value on the platform.
  • Managing responses to technical and functional elements of RFIs/RFPs.
  • Gathering market feedback to inform product enhancements.
  • Representing Workato at industry events and supporting marketing initiatives through content creation and presentations.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; a degree in Computer Science is advantageous.
  • 6-10 years of pre-sales experience in a SaaS environment, with familiarity in iPaaS technologies being a significant plus.
  • Proven experience with enterprise clients and complex sales cycles.
  • Hands-on knowledge of automation technologies, integration architecture, web services, and APIs.
  • Experience with cloud technologies, including iPaaS and SaaS applications.
  • Familiarity with programming concepts, particularly Ruby or object-oriented programming.
  • Understanding of web technologies such as HTML, HTTP, XML, and JSON.
  • Knowledge of front-end development, including HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
