Overview

Milwaukee Electronics Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Product Development Manager to lead the development and launch of our software products. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and articulating the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with the company's overall goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy & Vision: Develop and articulate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities for innovation.
  • Requirements Gathering: Gather and prioritize product requirements from stakeholders, customers, and user feedback to inform product development.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure successful product development and launch.
  • Product Development: Oversee the product development lifecycle, including planning, design, implementation, and iteration, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
  • Performance Monitoring: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product performance, user satisfaction, and business impact.
  • User Experience: Ensure a high-quality user experience by collaborating with UX/UI designers and incorporating user feedback into product improvements.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute go-to-market strategies, including product positioning, messaging, and launch plans.
  • Customer Engagement: Engage with customers to understand their needs, gather feedback, and build strong relationships to drive product adoption and loyalty.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks related to product development, launch, and market performance.

Requirements

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Product Management Experience: Minimum of 5 years product management experience, preferably in a SaaS or technology environment.
  • Proven Track Record: Proven track record of successfully managing and launching SaaS and Hardware products.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of software development processes, agile methodologies, and project management.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Product Management Tools & Analytics: Experience with product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Aha, Trello) and analytics platforms (e.g., Microsoft Fabric, Google Analytics, Mixpanel).
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic global environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Language Skills

Ability to read, speak, and write in English. To analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations; to write reports and business correspondence; to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills

Basic math skills will be required to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. Basic understanding of and ability to read performance graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Able to understand and determine product quality to written documentation.
