About the Opportunity:

Cory Executive Recruiting is seeking a seasoned Director of Acquisitions to join our client, a dynamic private real estate group with a proven track record of success. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and passionate professional to make a significant impact in the multifamily real estate industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, evaluate, and execute investment opportunities while sourcing institutional equity partnerships to capital transactions.
  • Stay current with industry knowledge regarding market trends, economic indicators, and industry developments.
  • Build a pipeline and deal flow of investment opportunities aligning with investment strategy for real estate opportunities.
  • Consistently maintain solid relationships with brokers, investment banks, and institutional partners to source on-market and off-market opportunities.
  • Present applicable opportunities to capital partners and support their analysis process. Negotiate JV partnership terms.
  • Manage due diligence, negotiations, closing, and legal processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, real estate, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in real estate acquisitions, private equity, or investment banking.
  • An existing network of contacts and a proven track record of successfully closing institutional-grade transactions is highly desirable.
  • Market knowledge, specifically on the West Coast, is required.

What We Offer:

  • Base salary commensurate with experience - $150K-$200K+
