Position Overview

NOW CFO is seeking a qualified Financial Operations Manager to join our client's organization. This role is pivotal in managing all financial activities and will report directly to the Controller.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the month-end closing process, general ledger account reconciliations, and the preparation of financial statements for review.
  • Manage bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, and prepaid expenses.
  • Supervise Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
  • Ensure adherence to complex accounting standards and remain informed about relevant changes and updates.
  • Support HR functions including onboarding, report maintenance, payroll processing, and benefits management.
  • Evaluate financial data and deliver insights to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the organization’s financial systems and processes to pinpoint areas for enhancement.
  • Engage in special projects and respond to ad hoc requests as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is essential.
  • A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, ideally in a leadership capacity.
  • Proficient in accounting software (such as QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Exceptional analytical abilities with a knack for interpreting financial data and trends.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, capable of identifying discrepancies or misclassifications.
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills.
