Position Overview:
East West Family of Companies is seeking a skilled Construction Services Team Leader. This role involves overseeing all construction initiatives for our associations and residences as directed by the HOA Project Manager. The ideal candidate will exemplify leadership qualities and play a pivotal role in mentoring and managing the construction services team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise the construction services team, managing tasks such as painting, snow removal, landscaping, and general construction activities. Regularly meet with the project manager to assess objectives and fill in as necessary for HOA technical roles. Ensure all projects meet HOA standards through quality inspections and adherence to OSHA safety regulations.
  • Analyze departmental and project budgets, providing valuable insights to the project manager.
  • Maintain effective communication with the project manager and property owners, participating in weekly meetings and delivering clear updates as required.
  • Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, and removing loose paint, ensuring the correct use and upkeep of painting tools while working at heights up to 32 feet. Safeguard surrounding areas from paint damage, collaborate with the painting team to meet deadlines, and continuously enhance skills in construction and painting trades.
  • Operate hand and mechanical snow removal equipment as instructed.
  • Manage various landscaping tasks, including installation, irrigation, and maintenance using both hand and mechanical tools.

Employment Type: Full Time, Year Round

Compensation: $32-$34/hour DOE

Work Schedule: Weekdays, Weekends, Holidays

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in construction supervision is essential.
  • Strong leadership abilities and experience in staff training are required.
  • Proficiency in computer usage is necessary.
  • A willingness to train apprentices to enhance the department's overall capabilities is expected.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and demonstrate self-motivation is crucial.
  • Excellent organizational skills are a must.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays is essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in construction supervision.
  • Familiarity with painting, snow removal, and landscaping.
