Rolfson Oil, LLC is a dynamic fuel supply and logistics firm dedicated to meeting the fueling requirements of the oil and natural gas sector. Since its inception in 1985, Rolfson Oil has been delivering bulk fuel and lubricants to various industries including agriculture and oil fields across multiple states.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a proactive HR Manager to undertake a range of administrative and managerial responsibilities that support our Odessa Field Office. The role involves providing assistance to our management team and employees, facilitating daily office operations, overseeing the onboarding process for new hires, and collaborating with the corporate office on various projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication abilities, exceptional organizational skills, effective time management, problem-solving capabilities, critical thinking, managerial experience, and the ability to multitask. Compensation Package:
- $75,000 - $80,000 annually (negotiable based on qualifications and experience)

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform receptionist duties as needed, including greeting visitors and directing inquiries
- Oversee daily operations in the Odessa Field Office
- Manage the onboarding team responsible for processing new hires
- Engage in special projects as assigned
- Become knowledgeable in DOT compliance related to HR responsibilities (drug and alcohol testing, training, driver qualification files)
- Assist with recruitment efforts as necessary
- Maintain strong communication with operations regarding employee matters
- Support employee disciplinary actions and terminations as required
- Handle administrative tasks such as mailings, office organization, and scanning documents
- Assist with various administrative duties in the shop or company housing
- Proactively take initiative on projects
- Support Corporate HR with additional tasks
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills are essential
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office administrator
- Management experience is required
- Bachelor's Degree is preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office is necessary
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Experience in the oilfield or related industry is preferred
- Detail-oriented with a focus on professionalism and customer service
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Highly organized and proficient in computer skills
- Must pass drug tests and criminal background checks
- 2-5 years of relevant experience is preferred
