Surgical Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our Inpatient Surgery team at UW Health. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in preparing the Operating Room for surgery, working with world-renowned surgeons, and assisting with complex surgical procedures.
Responsibilities- Prepare the Operating Room for surgery, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
- Work with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure a smooth and efficient surgical process.
- Assist with complex surgical procedures, including preparing and positioning patients, and maintaining a sterile environment.
- Anticipate the needs of surgeons and other healthcare professionals, providing support and assistance as needed.
- Minimum - Completion of Surgical Technologist program. Two (2) years of Surgical Technologist experience may be considered in lieu of completion of a Surgical Technologist program.
- Preferred - Completion of a Surgical Technologist program. One (1) year of experience as a Surgical Technologist.
- Basic Life Support/CPR certification required within six (6) months of hire.
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification preferred.
