Position Summary


The Culinary Service Associate plays a vital role in ensuring food safety and quality. Responsibilities include monitoring food temperatures, maintaining a clean and sanitized serving area, preparing and serving meals, restocking supplies, cleaning equipment, and processing payments through a computerized register.

Adheres to Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) protocols for food safety. Delivers exceptional customer service and communicates effectively with guests and colleagues. Demonstrates the ability to foster positive working relationships.

Ensures compliance with quality control standards.

May operate various kitchen equipment, including grills, beverage dispensers, toasters, ice cream machines, cash registers, steamers, dishwashers, and refrigeration units.

Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred.

Must be able to work independently when necessary and possess a solid understanding of food safety and sanitation practices. Ability to remain on feet for extended periods and walk significant distances is essential.

Qualifications
Must be at least 16 years old. Previous experience in customer service, cash handling, and food service is advantageous. Ability to read, write, and follow both oral and written instructions is required. Basic math skills are necessary. On-the-job training will be provided.

Depending on the hiring location, obtaining Serv Safe certification may be required within a specified timeframe. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may also be necessary based on location requirements.
