About This Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Director to lead our culinary team at Trinity Services Group. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our food service department, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate the activities associated with running a single-site food service operation in a secure correctional facility.
  • Oversee the operational and financial responsibilities for the kitchen, including budgeting, inventory management, and staff supervision.
  • Supervise a team of Food Service Workers and/or Cooks, providing guidance, training, and coaching to ensure excellent service and quality food production.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve food quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Five years of management or supervisory experience in a food service environment.
  • ServSafe Certification.
  • Knowledge and experience managing and applying kitchen sanitation and safety standards and methods.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting and mathematical abilities to complete necessary reports.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent, and you must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Prior institutional food service or restaurant experience is preferred.
