Penske Truck Leasing is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic/Technician I to join our team in Forest Park, GA. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on our fleet of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with diesel engines, transmissions, and differentials
- Work independently and as part of a team to complete repairs and maintenance tasks
- Use Penske's tools and technologies to log, research, and complete repairs
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on the latest vehicle maintenance technologies
- 6 years of practical experience with truck and tractor-trailer maintenance
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred
- Specialized training and experience in the diagnosis/troubleshooting of major components (engines, transmissions, differentials)
- Valid driver's license required, CDL preferred
- Excellent customer service skills and communication skills
