  • Troubleshoot and repair complex equipment, including pumps, vessels, exchangers, and motors.
  • Install and modify piping and equipment, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.
  • Perform shop work, construction, painting, concrete work, carpentry, insulation, and light sheet metal fabrication tasks.
  • Assist with electrical installations, including motor wiring and setting up pneumatic valves and pumps.
  • Operate and maintain a wide range of heavy tools, hand tools, and power tools.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and assist with mechanical reliability initiatives.
  • Inspect critical equipment for optimal operation and identify any defects.
  • Communicate issues and suggest improvements to ensure efficient plant operation.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized plant and maintenance shop.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, including lockout/tagout, confined space, and working at heights.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in industrial/chemical settings.
  • Mechanical background and knowledge of SAP.
  • Forklift certification and basic electrical knowledge.
  • Experience with liquid handling systems and plant utilities (steam, air, nitrogen, water, hot oil).
