About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at BestCo. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Quality Assessments: Conduct AQL (Acceptable Quality Limit) assessments for in-process and packaged product, identifying accept and reject criteria.
  • Perform Line Clearances: Perform Line Clearances and identify non-conforming conditions.
  • Issue Batch Records and Labels: Issue batch records and labels into production, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and completion of quality documentation.
  • Issue Holds: Issue a hold when a quality event occurs.
  • Collect Samples: Collect samples as required for validation activities.
  • Support Validation Activities: Directly support validation activities as needed.
  • Use Electronic Documentation Systems: Use electronic documentation systems to review SOPs, issue batch records, and complete other data entry tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year of professional experience in Quality Assurance.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving: Ambitious, critical thinking, self-starter with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with internal staff and management.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
