Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Resident Care Assistant to join our team at DePaul Senior Living Community. As a key member of our care team, you will provide direct personal care and assistance to residents, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and assistance to residents, including bathing, dressing, and oral hygiene.
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and serving, and monitoring medication times.
  • Perform housekeeping duties, including laundry and cleaning, to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Document and report any concerns or changes in resident behavior or condition to the supervisor.
  • Assist with activity programs and events, promoting socialization and engagement among residents.
  • Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the care team and maintain a positive and supportive work environment.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; CNA, HHA, or PCA certification preferred.
  • One year of experience in a care-giving field desired.
  • Dependable, hardworking, and willing to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Annual TB screening and Health Assessment required.
