About the Role

As a Production Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in managing the day-to-day operations of our production team.

Under the direction of the Production Manager, you will ensure the efficient execution of the production schedule, maintain high standards of food safety, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of food production while working in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food safety programs are instituted and followed.
  • Ensure all safety policies are adhered to.
  • Work in collaboration with the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Team to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Strong team leadership skills, skilled in motivating, coaching, and influencing others.
  • Efficiently execute the production schedule.
  • Develop and maintain efficient Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in collaboration with site engineers.
  • Develop and maintain qualified personnel within the plant production department.
  • Communicate and enforce regulatory and Kerry policies within the plant.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Manage labor costs while meeting plant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Positive working environment driving an engaged culture.
  • Responsible for manufacturing product to specification.
  • Responsible for minimizing losses.
  • Management through KPIs.
  • SAP Department Data Control.
  • Maintain a high level of departmental cleanliness (80% floor and 20% office/strategic work).

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field of study preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in leading a manufacturing team.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Continuous improvement understanding.
  • Thorough understanding of unit operations.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing methodology.
  • Knowledge of SAP is preferred.
