Service Operations Technician

The Service Operations Technician role at Smiths Detection involves providing expert technical support to customers in the field, ensuring seamless operation of our security and detection solutions. Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per annum
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair complex equipment issues in the field.
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues.
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance customer knowledge and proficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and issue resolutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A degree in a relevant technical field, such as electrical or mechanical engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a field service or technical support role.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
