Job OverviewThis is an exciting opportunity for experienced Paramedics to join our team as Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) in Texas operations. Our EMTs will provide advanced level patient care, working closely with our medical team to deliver top-notch emergency medical services across Texas.
Responsibilities- Respond promptly to emergency and non-emergency transports, assessing patients' conditions and determining courses of treatment according to local protocols.
- Provide first-aid treatment and/or advanced life support to patients, clearly explaining procedures and relaying information to others as needed.
- Transport patients safely in ambulances, transferring them to hospitals or healthcare facilities as required.
- Report observations and treatment to physicians or other healthcare staff, documenting medical care provided in a timely manner.
- Maintain and clean crew quarters, ambulances, and station locations daily, ensuring equipment and supplies are up-to-date and organized.
- Possess excellent communication skills, including verbal and written English, with the ability to adapt to changing situations and take direction when necessary.
- Demonstrate the ability to sit, bend, and stand for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs from ground to waist level with ease.
- Hold 2 years of experience in Emergency Medical Services (EMS), preferably with MICU level transports including IV pump, ventilator, and cardiac monitoring.
