LVN - Float Pool (Urology) - Sharp Rees-Stealy Locations - Days - PRN

Sharp HealthCare is seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our Urology Float Pool team. As an LVN, you will provide high-quality patient care in a procedural-based, high-acuity department. This is a PRN position, working day shifts at various Sharp Rees-Stealy locations.
Responsibilities- Assist patients, staff, and physicians to maintain a high level of efficiency and customer service while providing quality care to a designated patient population.
- Serve as a technical nursing expert for the department, including ability to safely assist/perform a multitude of highly skilled procedures with the providers in office as well as autonomously per guidelines and written physician orders.
- Participate in clinical projects as directed by the physician or manager.
- Organize and complete daily requirements and responsibilities, including telephone message management, daily organization, and ensuring readiness of reports and information to maximize patient visit.
- Respond to urgent and emergent situations in a calm and capable manner, utilizing good judgment and problem-solving ability.
- H.S. Diploma or Equivalent
- California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - CA Board of Vocational Nursing & Psychiatric Technicians
- AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - American Heart Association
- Preferred Qualifications: 1 Year LVN experience in related clinical area, Ambulatory care experience, ACLS Certification (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - American Heart Association, Vocational Nurse IV Therapy/Blood Withdrawal Certification - Various-Employee provides certificate
This is a PRN position, working day shifts at various Sharp Rees-Stealy locations. The LVN will be required to travel to other sites as business needs arise.
