Job Summary:
Sharp HealthCare is seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our Urology department. As an LVN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting physicians with various procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients, staff, and physicians in maintaining a high level of efficiency and customer service.
- Provide technical nursing expertise, including assisting with and performing various procedures.
- Administer medications safely and accurately, ensuring proper documentation and verification.
- Prepare patients for examinations, tests, or treatments, and explain procedures.
- Collect samples, perform routine laboratory tests, and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
- California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) certification.
- AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional certification.
- 1 year of LVN experience in a related clinical area, preferably in ambulatory care.
- ACLS Certification (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and Vocational Nurse IV Therapy/Blood Withdrawal Certification are preferred.
