Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design, implement, and oversee thorough sanitation programs, including chemical safety protocols and sanitation expertise.
  2. Develop, maintain, and audit the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) to ensure all facility areas are cleaned and sanitized according to established timelines.
  3. Supervise cleaning procedures, ensuring they are effective, efficient, and compliant with industry regulations.
  4. Serve as the sanitation subject matter expert, providing training and guidance to the sanitation team and other personnel as required.
  5. Ensure compliance with Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP), and Safe Quality Food (SQF) standards.
  6. Continuously evaluate sanitation processes, driving improvements while maintaining the highest cleanliness and safety standards.
  7. Collaborate with various departments to ensure sanitation activities do not disrupt production schedules.
  8. Lead and inspire the sanitation team, ensuring they are well-trained and performing their duties effectively.

Qualifications:

  1. At least 2 years of experience in a similar position within the food production or manufacturing industry.
  2. Demonstrated experience in managing chemical sanitation safety programs, sanitation expertise, Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS), and compliance with GFSI, HACCP, and SQF.
  3. Strong understanding of sanitation regulations and standards in the food industry.
  4. Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
  5. Proficient problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of training and motivating a team.
  7. Physically capable of meeting the demands of the role, including lifting and working in a dynamic environment.
  8. A degree in a relevant field is a plus.
