Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Front Office Assistant to join our team at Commonwealth Pain and Spine. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accurate and timely updates to appointment status
  • Assist patients with completion of intake forms and inspect forms for completeness and accuracy
  • Communicate with patients via phone and email to confirm appointments and provide reminders
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with referral sources and healthcare professionals
  • Enter patient information and notes into our electronic medical record system
  • Perform other administrative tasks as assigned
Requirements
  • Exceptional customer service skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, coding, and office procedures
  • Strong computer and phone skills, with experience in electronic medical records
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, patients, and healthcare professionals
  • High integrity and ability to maintain confidential information
  • Regular and reliable attendance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Medical front office experience, preferably in pain management
  • Knowledge of EMR systems, KASPER, and INSPECT
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel for company-related purposes
