Key Responsibilities
- Manage the procurement of food and supplies within budgetary constraints while ensuring adequate meal coverage
- Provide expert guidance and administrative oversight for diet planning, menu development, and the preparation and service of both standard and therapeutic diets
- Ensure that meals are nutritious, appealing, and prepared in a timely manner, adhering to established menus and dietary orders
- Conduct interviews with guests and their families to gather dietary histories as needed
- Complete the dietary sections of clinical records accurately and promptly
- Engage in regular meetings, including departmental head conferences and interdisciplinary care planning sessions
Qualifications
- Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration
- Possession of Serve Safe certification
- Preferred experience of one (1) to two (2) years in a management or supervisory role
