We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Dietitian to join our team at Sunrise PACE (Region 7 AAA). As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, organize, and participate in the overall nutritional plan of care for clients served by Sunrise PACE and the associated nutritional program areas.
  • Effectively link clients and providers to available needed resources by coordinating with Area Agency on Aging staff.
  • Continually study emerging trends and stay current on new research related to the practice of dietetics.
  • Educate staff on pertinent topics related to human nutrition and culinary service.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics or Nutrition (must be accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics).
  • Compliant with state healthcare regulatory requirements and certifications.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of nutritional programs and requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to initiate and maintain positive working relationships with staff, clients, and other organizations.
  • Must be accurate, conscientious and flexible with attention to detail and proficient with computers.
  • Ability to communicate with elderly or disabled participants on a one-to-one basis.
  • Ability to conduct presentations and educational events to a wide variety of individuals with different knowledge and positions.
