Job Summary

Black Mountain Sand is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Account Representative to join our team. As the first point of contact for our customers, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and support to ensure their needs are met.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sales and operations principles, with the ability to think critically and make strategic decisions. You will work closely with our operations team to fulfill customer needs, provide spot purchase solutions, and maintain inventory control of our sand products.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing company, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and partnership-building.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and respond to customer inquiries and requests for spot purchases
  • Maintain daily sales reports and utilize customer demand forecasts to populate monthly customer requirements
  • Communicate with operations team to forecast supply, remedy customer issues, and spot purchase orders
  • Support business development team with preparation of marketing and customer analytics for internal review
  • Assist business development team with comparing supply and demand forecasts to identify sales opportunities
  • Monitor market data to assist the company in data-driven decisions
Requirements
  • Completed Bachelor's degree and 1-2 years of experience in sales, operations, customer service, or marketing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, result-oriented environment
  • Flexibility to work rotating on-call shifts
