Job Description

**Director of Operational Excellence**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Operational Excellence to join our team at Virtual. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive operational control frameworks to mitigate risks and enhance operational efficiency across all departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement operational control frameworks to mitigate risks and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and industry trends to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of existing controls and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with department heads and stakeholders to establish and enforce policies and procedures that promote compliance and operational best practices.
  • Lead and mentor a team of compliance professionals, providing guidance and support in navigating complex compliance issues.
  • Prepare and present reports to senior management and regulatory authorities, detailing compliance status, issues, and recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Drive initiatives to promote a culture of compliance and ethics throughout the organization, including training programs and awareness campaigns.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external audits, inspections, and investigations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Years of progressive experience in operational controls, compliance management, or related fields.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing effective control frameworks and compliance programs.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards relevant to the industry.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and mentor a team.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFE, CISA) are a plus.
