Sales Executive

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the market while enhancing relationships with current clients, demonstrating the ability to effectively finalize sales agreements and meet revenue targets.
- Build a comprehensive database of potential leads through various channels including referrals, telemarketing, in-person outreach to business owners, direct mail campaigns, email communications, and networking events.
- Exhibit strong technical sales skills and in-depth product knowledge that empower Field Sales Executives to deliver impactful presentations.
- Engage in consultative selling, providing tailored recommendations to prospects and clients regarding the diverse solutions available to address their business challenges.
- Design and deliver compelling proposal presentations and responses to RFPs that clearly outline the business challenges faced by prospects, the implications of these challenges, and the SEKO solutions available to resolve them.
- Maintain meticulous records of all sales and prospecting activities, including sales calls, presentations, closed deals, and follow-up tasks within the designated territory, utilizing Microsoft Office tools to produce professional business documentation.
- Embrace a proactive and positive attitude while crafting a compelling vision for the sales territory. The Outside Sales Executive takes responsibility for their actions, activities, personal growth, and outcomes.
- Identify optimal target accounts, assess the sales landscape, and apply strategic positioning to leverage SEKO's unique value propositions.
- Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, and ethical standards, ensuring these are communicated and upheld within the team.
- Comply with SEKO's C-TPAT Security Profile and uphold the company's Core Values: respect, customer focus, integrity, teamwork, and a balanced work-play ethos.
- Contribute to the creation of a safe and healthy work environment, following safety protocols for personal and collective well-being, and cooperating with management to fulfill legislative responsibilities.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by management.
- Deep understanding of customer needs and market dynamics.
- Self-driven with exceptional negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong business acumen.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Minimum:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least 3 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or freight forwarding sales with a proven track record in prospecting and closing deals.
- Experience in selling a diverse range of domestic and international products, including Export/Import Air Freight/Ocean Freight, FTL, LTL, Fulfillment, etc.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a well-maintained, insured vehicle for business purposes.
- Experience in sales or industry-related roles.
