Your ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a Project Engineer/Manager to oversee and coordinate various projects within the biotechnology manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background in engineering, validation processes, quality assurance, and project management, along with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing industry is preferred.
- Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and company policies.
- Create project plans, timelines, and budgets, monitoring progress against established milestones.
- Provide clear guidance to project teams through effective written and verbal communication to ensure timely and efficient execution of tasks.
- Develop solutions, outline budgetary requirements, secure funding approvals, forecast expenditures, and manage financial records.
- Identify and proactively address project risks, formulating mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
- Maintain project standards by ensuring compliance with relevant industry regulations and best practices.
- Evaluate project performance and assess the achievement of key objectives.
- Document and communicate project progress to stakeholders.
- Offer technical expertise and support to cross-functional teams.
- Deliver expert-level project management for high-value, complex projects with urgent timelines.
- Encourage a collaborative and positive team atmosphere.

The ability to adapt to diverse locations, cultures, and work environments is crucial for effective collaboration with clients and colleagues.
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a science, technology, or engineering field is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in commissioning and qualifying bio-pharmaceutical facilities and equipment or in a GMP manufacturing setting.
- Experience in project management or engineering is advantageous.
- PMP certification or equivalent Project Management Certification is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project, and Access.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- A strong customer service orientation.
- Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience in a biotechnology manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
