Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in a school environment. This role is essential in supporting students with communication challenges and enhancing their educational experience.

Location: Austin, Texas
Job Type: Full-time & part-time positions available

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and identify speech and language disorders in students.
  • Design and execute individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's communication needs.
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students in both individual and small group settings.
  • Track and document student progress, modifying treatment plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with educators and school personnel to incorporate speech and language objectives into classroom activities.
  • Guide and support parents and guardians on methods to foster their child's communication skills.
  • Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings to contribute to the development of educational strategies.
  • Stay informed on the latest practices and research in speech-language pathology and special education.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Texas.
  • Preferred certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
  • Excellent organizational abilities to manage a varied caseload.
