Speech Language Pathologist Position

Soliant is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist for a contract role in a supportive educational environment. This position is ideal for professionals looking to make a significant impact in the lives of students in need of speech and language services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments for students referred for potential speech and language challenges.
  • Engage in ARD (Admissions, Referral, and Dismissal) meetings to evaluate student eligibility.
  • Deliver individual and group therapy sessions tailored to students with identified speech and language disorders.
  • Create and present individualized education plans (IEPs) to parents and school staff.
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents regarding speech and language concerns.
  • Maintain comprehensive records for all students on the caseload.
  • Provide progress reports to parents regarding student development.
  • Organize and manage a caseload effectively, developing a schedule for each assigned school.
  • Develop and prepare resource materials to aid in speech and language development.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Valid Texas Speech-Language Pathology License.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred.
