Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and assist customers at the Parts Counter, ensuring exceptional service and addressing their inquiries
- Understand customer needs and suggest suitable parts or products
- Process part orders accurately using the dealership's computer system
- Perform inventory checks and retrieve necessary parts from storage
- Manage invoices and payments, ensuring precision
- Maintain an organized and tidy Parts Counter area, restocking as necessary
- Stay informed about current trends, new products, and inventory to provide accurate customer assistance
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Service and Sales, for efficient order fulfillment
- Achieve and surpass sales targets set by management
- Adhere to all safety protocols in the workplace
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in the automotive industry or parts sales is preferred
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in computer and internet skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
