Your Role:
As a Service Solutions Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients across various regions. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Providing both on-site and remote assistance for advanced Tank Gauging and Liquid Inventory Management Systems.
  • Installing, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical, electro-mechanical, and electronic systems at client locations.
  • Offering training and support on Varec equipment to customers and internal teams.
  • Generating service quotes and proposals, and managing follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of our products and solutions while collaborating with various departments to resolve customer inquiries.

Travel Requirements:
This position entails significant travel, primarily within the domestic U.S., with potential international assignments. Candidates should be prepared for travel to various locations, including high-risk areas, as necessary.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
  • A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of two years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
  • A solid understanding of schematics and technical documentation.
  • Proficiency in multiple PC operating systems and applications, including Microsoft Office.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with data communication protocols.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications:
While not mandatory, the following qualifications will be advantageous:
  • A technical or electronics degree.
  • Experience with Varec products and services.
  • Knowledge of automation and control systems.
  • Familiarity with industry practices in petroleum management.
