Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Seasonal Retail Customer Service Team Member to join our team at Michaels. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, helping customers find what they need, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Help customers locate products, provide product information, and make recommendations to enhance their shopping experience
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card transactions, and returns
  • Participate in visual merchandising and store displays to create an engaging and inviting shopping environment
  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise, and maintaining a clean and organized store
  • Support sales floor operations, including opening and closing procedures, and maintaining a safe and secure shopping environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and promote a positive and inclusive store culture
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or prior retail experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and move throughout the store
