Job Overview
As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our production processes meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Engaging with clients to thoroughly understand their engineering requirements.
  • Updating production orders to align with specific project needs through an ERP system.
  • Analyzing and interpreting technical specifications, sketches, and layout designs.
  • Reviewing applicable codes and regulations to guarantee compliance of supplied products.
  • Conducting advanced engineering calculations as required.
  • Creating detailed assembly and component drawings necessary for manufacturing.
  • Providing troubleshooting support for products and components via phone and email to assist clients in resolving field issues.
  • Coordinating with service technicians in the field by dispatching components or sourcing information as needed.
  • Offering support to various departments as required.
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate who possesses:
  • An Associate's Degree in Computer Aided Drafting or a related engineering discipline with a strong focus on design drafting.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in an engineering field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of technical experience in a manufacturing or engineering office setting.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD 2010 or newer.
  • Strong skills in MS Word and Excel, with the ability to adapt to new software as needed.
  • Knowledge of Autodesk Inventor is a plus.
  • Expertise in reading and interpreting project specifications, architectural and structural drawings, as well as mechanical assembly drawings.
  • The ability to absorb detailed information about a wide range of products.
  • A mechanical aptitude and a solid grasp of technical concepts.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities.
  • The capacity to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously with precision and efficiency.
  • A keen attention to detail and exceptional proofreading skills.
  • The ability to work independently, demonstrating critical thinking and minimal supervision.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • The capability to build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and clients.
