Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Dietetics Supervisor to join our team at Providence Health & Services. As a Clinical Dietetics Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the activities of clinical dietitians at designated hospital locations across Oregon.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and schedule clinical dietitians to ensure optimal patient care and efficient operations.
  • Assist in hiring and onboarding clinical nutrition caregivers, ensuring they meet the necessary qualifications and standards.
  • Monitor and maintain clinical nutrition staffing, workloads, and productivity to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as The Joint Commission (TJC) and CMS standards.
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Nutrition team to develop and implement nutrition care plans that meet the needs of patients and align with the organization's mission and values.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Food and Nutrition from an accredited college or university.
  • Oregon Dietitian License and National CDR Registered Dietitian certification upon hire.
  • At least 2 years of experience in clinical nutrition, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Food and Nutrition, Public Health, or Business Administration from an accredited college or university.
  • 1 year of experience in management or leadership, preferably in a healthcare setting.
