Your mission is to ensure our significance in the Bay Area, utilizing that influence to enhance audience engagement and drive revenue growth. You will be the local champion, solving problems, showcasing vibrant scenes, fostering new relationships, and advancing the city.
In this role, you will promote DotheBay to local businesses and brands seeking an authentic local voice to connect with the 21-35 demographic through branded content, partnerships, experiential marketing, influencer engagement, and media. You will receive support from the DoStuff team in San Francisco and other talented individuals from DoStuff cities nationwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and compile targeted lists across local and regional business sectors.
- Enhance all sales materials as necessary.
- Sell integrated marketing campaigns to local and regional businesses/brands aiming to make a significant impact in our market.
- Collaborate with local businesses to design custom programs tailored to their needs.
- Maintain an effective Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Draft sales proposals and contracts.
- Set timelines and brand objectives for sponsorship goals.
- Establish and nurture relationships with clients to ensure the success of their campaigns and foster ongoing business.
- Achieve ambitious monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Oversee on-site fulfillment.
- Generate comprehensive recap reports.
Qualifications:
- Basic sales experience.
- A minimum of two years in a sales role.
- Strong budgeting and spreadsheet proficiency.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with Google Apps Suite (Docs, Slides, Sheets).
- Technical proficiency with social media platforms, digital advertising, ticketing systems, etc.
- A BA or BS degree in Business Administration, Entertainment, Marketing, or a related field.
- A solid understanding of and passion for the Bay Area music and arts culture.
Compensation is based on experience, including a base salary plus commission, with healthcare benefits provided.
