Head Lifeguard

Are you a skilled lifeguard looking for a challenging and rewarding role? We are seeking a Head Lifeguard to join our team at the Bellevue Club Hotel. As a Head Lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our pool patrons, leading our lifeguard team, and assisting with swim lesson programs.

• Ensure the safety of pool patrons through strict compliance with Bellevue Club health and safety standards.
• Lead and train lifeguard staff, including recruiting and training new hires.
• Assist with swim lesson programs, including teaching lessons and performing lifeguarding duties.
• Review and enforce Aquatics department policies and procedures.
• Perform various pool area custodial duties and administer swim assessments as needed.
• Communicate with students and parents to troubleshoot conflicts and refer members to the Aquatics Director as needed.
• Perform various office administration tasks, including answering the pool telephone and performing miscellaneous filing.

• American Red Cross Lifeguard Training (includes CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer and Standard First Aid).
• Minimum 1 year of lifeguard experience.
• Two to three years' supervisory experience preferred.
• LGI preferred, but not required.
• ARC Water Safety Instructor preferred.
